Gustaf Natural Oak Veneered Panels at Coventry University
Giotto Group has been engaged on a project by Speller & Metcalfe at the £27m newly-built Engineering and Computing building at Coventry University.
We are supplying and installing Gustaf Natural Oak Veneered Panels to the reception walls in the Beatrice Shilling Building.
The development is due to complete in early 2020 and includes the construction of a four-storey steel frame and pre-cast concrete superstructure to accommodate additional students for the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing.
The Beatrice Shilling Building will adjoin to the faculty’s existing teaching block, via a covered bridge. This will provide an additional range of learning spaces. The building will include a gaming and virtual reality studio, a specialist area for 3D printing and rapid prototyping, a laser facility, and physics and electronics laboratories, all designed around a full-height central atrium.
