Installation Of Oranit Siluvit For Coventry City Council
Our specialist team have recently been called into action in Coventry. Working as a specialist subcontractor to Galliford Try, Giotto’s skilled workmen are installing Oranit Siluvit wood panelling in a brand new £11 million leisure development at the Alan Higgs Leisure Centre for Coventry City Council.
The main component of the new development is an ultra-modern 50 metre swimming pool which boasts movable floors, beams and a 500-spectator pool viewing gallery. Coventry City Council hope to hold swimming events, galas and sports events there, as well as offering public swimming facilities. So, ensuring that the pool looks immaculate and modern for many years to come is a top priority. In keeping with these brand new, modern leisure facilities, the wood panelling that Giotto’s skilled workmen are installing is cutting edge too.
Oranit Siluvit Acoustic wood panelling is specially waterproofed on all sides with a special pool safe lacquer, along with brads that are galvanised to prevent corrosion. The materials we are using are perfectly suited to this kind of wet environment, ensuring that Coventry’s brand new, state of the art will look great for years to come.
Our specialist wood panelling has an Oranit American Yellow Pine Stained Timber finish and will take three to four weeks to install. Once complete, these new facilities with boast an additional health suite with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, along with swimming education facilities and a fitness suite and function rooms.
